Explore the wonders of Kenya and Tanzania with this 11 nights 12 days Tanzania and Kenya budget camping safari. The wholesome safari tour package lets you explore the picture-perfect beauty of Masai Mara, Serengeti, Amboseli, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara in a way that you are going to absolutely fall in love with it.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL: NAIROBI
Upon your arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be received by our driver-guide who will assist you in getting transferred to your hotel. As you reach the hotel, post check in, relax and take your time to shed off the weariness. Depending on your arrival time. You may opt for the numerous fascinating attractions of Nairobi city ( Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre, Nairobi National Park or Nairobi National Museum) and return for a comfortable overnight stay at your Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel, Nairobi or similar.

DAY 2: NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Arise to a beautiful morning in the city of the sun and indulge in a hearty breakfast before you leave for a 5-hour shared jeep journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. Join a group to Masai Mara via The Great Rift Valley and experience one of the most magnificent 4x4 jeep journeys. You will stop for about 30 minutes at the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Lunch will be served in Narok town. Drive further to Masai Mara Game Reserve to check in at Miti Mingi Eco Camp or similar followed by evening sunset game viewing drive where chances of seeing the big cats and big 5 game is extremely high ending at 6:30 pm. Return to the campsite for overnight stay.

DAY 3: EXPLORE MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Have early morning breakfast then depart for a full day game viewing in the park. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture around June/July. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

DAY 4: MASAI MARA TO LAKE NAKURU
We will have an option of doing the pre-breakfast game drive. Depart after breakfast with a stopover on the way for lunch. You then drive further to Nakuru town to check in a budget Hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU TO AMBOSELI
You will have an early breakfast then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for an extensive game drive. This is a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos. The drive will take you to the vantage baboon cliff to amaze at this pink lake. You will then depart to Amboseli National park with lunch en-route. On arrival, you will check in to your campsite for an overnight stay.

DAY 6: FULL DAY AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Spend the whole day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Our game drives shall take us to the observation hill to have a better overall view of the park including the adjacent marshy swamps. Wildlife is abundant in this park together with pelicans and other bird species. Your game viewing shall be spread to cover the open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps and marshland. Overnight stay at the campsite.

DAY 7: AMBOSELI TO ARUSHA TOWN
After breakfast, with your lunch box, check-out followed by a game run before your exit from this park. Have a relaxed drive to Namanga Border. After the Migration formalities, you will connect shuttle to Arusha town for an overnight stay at Venus Premier Hotel or similar booked on bed and breakfast

DAY 8: ARUSHA TO LAKE MANYARA
After breakfast, you will join a group to Lake Manyara National park famous for its tree climbing lions and the flamingo birds. Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. It is administered by the Tanzania National Parks Authority and covers an area of 325 km² including about 230 km² lake surface. Overnight stay at the campsite.

DAY 9: LAKE MANYARA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast, leave for Serengeti National Park. Arrive and start game drive enroute to the camp for lunch. After lunch you will go for game drive. Serengeti National Park (Serengeti) is located in Tanzania, best known for its abundance of animals. It stretches 14,763 (5,700 sq miles) stretching North to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the West. Serengeti has the highest concentration of large mammals in Africa and its famously known for over 2,000 lions. The park also has over 500 species of birds. Game drive, should prove rewarding as the game is fresh and lively. In this game drive you will view the fantastic Gnu Migration from Masai Mara with Predators following at close range. DAY 10: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast you will enjoy game drive. This game drive should prove rewarding as the game is fresh and lively. You will view the fantastic Gnu Migration from Masai Mara with Predators following at close range. Return to the camp for lunch. (NOTE: The Migration only occurs at specific times of the year).After lunch , you will be taken on a delightful camping safari of Ngorongoro Crater at Simba campsite. The world's biggest intact volcanic caldera. The crater rim offers magnificent views. Overnight stay at the campsite

DAY 11: NGORONGORO CRATER TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
You will take early breakfast from Simba camp, with picnic lunch box, take a drive down a steep, well-kept dirt road through lush forests teeming with exotic birdlife. You would be amazed to know that this gorgeous site holds the position of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The animals in the floor are born and die there without coming out to mix with other animals from different parks. This gives them some uniqueness in character. You will drive to the crater rim and exit Ngorongoro crater to Tarangire National park. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. This park is home to one of the largest elephant populations in Africa with several herds of up to 200 members per herd. Among the other common animals in the Tarangire are the buffalos, giraffes, leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetah that seem to be popular within the southern open areas. The elusive African wild dogs are only seen once in a while. Overnight stay at the campsite.

DAY 12: TARAGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO ARUSHA
Wake up early morning to rejoice your last game drive in Taragire National Park, since today you will be moving to the city of Arusha – Tanzania. After breakfast, take an early morning game drive. As part of our 12-day Tanzania Kenya group budget camping safari, enjoy the lovely birds on Lemiyon Triangle (Northern Tarangire). You'll spot vast flocks of red-billed quelea among other birds and animals. Depart with your lunch box to Arusha to board 2.00pm shuttle to Nairobi arriving around 7.00pm to end your safari with us. You can be dropped at the airport at a request.

NOTE: In Kenya we accommodate in permanently fixed self-contained Big tents in Masai Mara and Amboseli but in Lake Nakuru we do accommodation in a budget hotel.
In Tanzania, we are doing the real adventure camping whereby, we will carry and our tents, with mattresses and sleeping bags and fix on arrival. The campsite have shared flush toilets and dining halls with electricity.
