6 Days Masai Mara / Lake Nakuru / Amboseli National Park Camping Safari

Safari starts with the Masai Mara - Kenya's finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. The sensation of the great Wildebeest migration between July and October is unparalleled and make it the 8th wonder of the World.

Lake Nakuru National Park is dominated by a gentle undulating terrain with open bush and woodlands, typical of the dry Rift Valley vegetation. Twenty seven percent (27%) of the park is composed of the Lake Nakuru waters. The Park was declared a Rhino sanctuary in 1983. The Rhino stocking programme which ensued received White Rhinos from South Africa.

Amboseli National Park is the vantage point to view the African Highest Mountain – The Mt. Kilimanjaro. It is also known for big herds of Elephants. The game drives here are done late in the evening and early in the evening due to the weather pattern. It is very hot during the day and hence most of the animals are lazy and not easy to spot.
We also have the Maasai Tribe who can be visited in their Manyattas {The Maasai Tradional Houses which are built by women}.

VIEW ITINERARY

Day 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara

Depart from Nairobi in the morning  to Masai Mara with lunch en-route in Narok Town. You will arrive in Masai Mara around 3:30 pm, check in to camp, and later after refreshment proceed to the park for afternoon game drive until the park closes at 6:30pm. Dinner and overnight stay are at the camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day

After an early breakfast with picnic lunch you will spend a full day exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You have the chance to visit the Mara River, which borders Masai Mara and the famous Serengeti Park where there is high concentration of  animals. All meals and overnight are at the camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

You will have an early game drive and then after a late breakfast depart to Nakuru National Park with lunch on the way at Narok town arriving Nakuru in the evening with check-in at Golden Palace budget Hotel or similar.
Dinner and overnight stay is at the hotel for budget accommodation.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru  National park- Amboseli National park

After early breakfast spend the morning in Nakuru park where you will see a lot of flamingos among other birds [about 350 species recorded]. This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the Rhino and also home to Columbus monkeys. Leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope.

After this exciting game drive, lunch. Then depart to Amboseli through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant. After evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5: Amboseli National park

After early breakfast, morning game drive will be the perfect time for Photographing the humbling and magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro the highest peak in Africa if weather permits.
Enjoy morning and evening game drives in Amboseli National Park. Elephants, Antelopes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Buffaloes and Giraffes. Predators stalk the herds of grazing animals, recreating the age-old drama of life and death under the African sun, in a setting so lushly beautiful. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 6: Amboseli National park - Nairobi
