4 Days Masai Mara Lake Nakuru Camping Safari

PRIVATE CAMPING SAFARI (MASAI MARA & LAKE NAKURU)

One of the famous destinations in Kenya is the Lake Nakuru National Park which is is dominated by a gentle undulating terrain with open bush and woodlands, typical of the dry Rift Valley vegetation. Twenty seven percent (27%) of the park is composed of the Lake Nakuru waters with its multi-million flamingo and pelican birds. It is also Rhino sanctuary which was declared in 1983. The Rhino stocking programme which ensued received white Rhinos from South Africa. Currently the sanctuary has approximately 45 Black and 31 White Rhinoceros.

Our next destination is Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya's finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling savanna grasslands ensures animals are never out of sight. The sensation of the great Wildebeest migration between July and October is unparalleled. Centuries of close association with the wildlife has resulted in an almost symbiotic relationship where wildlife and Maasai people live in peace with one another.

VIEW ITINERARY

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the view point to amaze at the escarpment. Drive further to the park for lunch followed by afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru— Masai Mara Game Reserve

Depart after breakfast to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch en-route. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great Wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino.

Day 3: Discover Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast we will depart our campsite with picnic lunch boxes, in search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and Leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During our stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people or early morning balloon ride at a cost.

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi

Early morning tea/coffee or Hot chocolate then depart for a morning pre-breakfast game drive. Back to the accommodation for breakfast, and then depart to Narok for lunch to arrive in Nairobi in the evening to end your tour.
