AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Amboseli National Park is Mount Kilimanjaro’s Royal Court because it is romantically situated in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is known for its big group of Elephants which are called the Jumbos. Amboseli National Park is also famous for its tremendous variety of other plain game. The accommodation will be in the budget campsite.

Amboseli National Park is an excellent place to view Mount Kilimanjaro and a multitude of wildlife, like Lions, Cheetahs to Wildebeests to Giraffes to Baboons. It’s the home of the biggest African Jumbo Elephants which can be spotted in big groups walking toward the waterhole. Optional visit to a Maasai village is available at an extra cost as this is the home of the Maasai people.

VIEW ITINERARY

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Leave Nairobi in the morning by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephants. After lunch have an afternoon game drive. In addition to Elephants, Antelopes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Buffaloes and the elusive Leopard etc., The Park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Day 2: Explore Amboseli National Park

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating game drive in search of a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeests to Giraffes to Baboons. Back to the accommodation for lunch followed by evening game drive. Optional visit to a Maasai village is planned at an extra cost.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi
