Located on the equator and stretching across a 90,000-acre land in Laikipia County between the foothills of the Aberdares and the majestic snow-capped Mt. Kenya, Ol Pejeta Conservancy is known for rhino safaris. Rhinos are very rare, but the park has a large population and it's possible to spot them even on a day trip. 

Ol Pejeta Conservancy also boasts of an astounding variety of other animals, including the Big Five (leopard, elephant, buffalo, and lion), chimpanzee, Jackson’s hartebeest, cheetah, Grevy’s zebra, and many more.

Unique Activities to Experience At Ol Pejeta Conservancy

The major activity is to visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary at 9.00am the feeding time, whereby the guide will take you through the life history of the Chimpanzees found here. In Ol pejeta, you will also get a chance to visit the Rhino called Moran. Apart from all the above, you will have a game drive to see both White and Black Rhinos as well as the cat families.
